Tenzing Norgay Sherpa was a very inspiring Nepali-Indian mountaineer. He was one of the first two people to reach the summit of Mount Everest, on 29 May 1953.
Tenzing (Born on May 29, 1914, in Khumbu, Solukhumbu, Nepal) was 71 years old and around 5 feet and 8 inches tall (height) at the time of his death on May 9, 1986, in Darjeeling, India.
